Using AED’s in workplaces and in the general public are becoming much more common. The early use of an AED and CPR on a casualty who has suffered a sudden cardiac Arrest will dramatically improve their chance of survival.
Safeaid Training have designed this course to ensure that the students fully understand the safe use of an AED with CPR in accordance with the guidelines set by the HSE and the UK Resuscitation Council.
Course Duration
The course lasts for approximately 4 hours and is a mixture of practical and theory.
Assessment
Learners must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment, which is done by continuous observation and questioning during the course.
Qualification
On successful completion of this course, you will receive an FAIB approved certificate for safe usage of an AED defibrillator, which is valid for three years.
