This Qualsafe Awards course replaces the old Appointed Persons course. This course was introduced after a consultation period by the HSE to look at better provision for first aid in the workplace.
Specifically designed to provide first aid training in workplaces for those businesses who do not require a full first aider, but do require to provide first aid provision to their work force.
Course Duration
The course is run over 1 day or 6 hours (min 2 hour blocks) Open courses are available throughout Glasgow & Lanarkshire. In-house courses can be delivered to suit your companies needs.
Assessment
Learners must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment, which is carried out by continuous observation and questioning during the course.
Qualification
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Qualsafe Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, which is valid for three years.
